How to import stops into Optiway Dispatch

Two ways to add stops

However the addresses reach you, they end up in the same organized list, so nothing has to be retyped between sources.

1. Upload a spreadsheet — .csv, .xls or .xlsx, up to 10 MB. The usual route when orders arrive as a file.
2. Add stops manually — one at a time, for a late order or a one-off.

Addresses that arrive in an email or a message go in through the manual route, or by dropping them into a spreadsheet first if there are more than a handful.

Getting the file right

A clean file imports without any tidying afterwards. Worth checking before you upload:

• One delivery per row
• The full address in one column — street, building number, city and postcode
• Postcodes kept as text, so a leading zero is not stripped by the spreadsheet
• No merged cells or blank separator rows

If an address cannot be matched, it is flagged rather than silently dropped, so you can correct it before the route goes out.
